Richfield MN Church of Peace
Richfield MN Church of Peace worships at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday. We serve the neighborhood, community, and world missions to make disciples for Jesus and spread the word of God. We engage in our traditional and multicultural worship community. Richfield Church of Peace’s Chancel Choir rehearses at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday morning and presents a Christmas Cantata during Advent in mid-December. Our Local missions include VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People-Richfield, Bloomington, Edina and SW Minneapolis MN) as well as Richfield Sheridan Hills Elementary School. Church of Peace serves as the coordination and distribution point for Meals on Wheels for Richfield, Edina and SW Minneapolis and supplies drivers each month. Each October Richfield Church of Peace holds a Flu Shot Clinic as part of our Peace in the Neighborhood Outreach. World missions include several that are directly supported. One mission is in Sierra Leone. Church of Peace receives donations for Rev. Don Eslinger, a missionary with the Africa Uplifted organization in Manaoka, Sierra Leone. Another mission is our support of Rev. Daniel Yang in Laos. As a United Methodist church, Richfield MN Church of Peace supports missions in disaster zones worldwide, in the U.S. and many locations experiencing challenges following hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding and fire. Additional help is via apportionment dollars and donations to UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief. UMCOR can be further explored by following on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/UMCOR. Through them we know that donations are reaching those most affected in a timely and critical manner.
